Happiness is suffering of change in disguise. It changes into suffering.
Our happiness in samsara comes from causes and conditions. We have to accumulate causes and conditions to be happy.
Happiness is like an itch. It gives us some relief. But sooner or later, suffering comes back.
Samsaric happiness depends on causes and conditions. It is not stable. There is no foundation.
There is no samsaric state of happiness – cultivate this wisdom.
There is no happiness other than which comes from causes and conditions.
If you want to be happy, you need causes. People who stir us up are giving us an opportunity to practice patience. See the value of enemy.
The wish for happiness is pervasive. How to obtain it is not well known.
Even small insects wish happiness.
If someone is happy, this is quality of dharma.
Our happiness is subject to depletion. Sooner or later the effect of good actions will run out.
Happiness comes from bodhicitta. You have to change inside.
Don’t cling to happiness. Engage in virtue.
