Sufferings: Human Realm
Human life is a stream of suffering: birth, old age (ageing), sickness, death.
See human suffering. This is the closest thing we can relate to.
Birth: We have to remain in womb. It is dark. All the sense organs have sensation
of suffering.
When we take birth from womb, we experience limitless suffering.
We don’t remember because our mind is obscured.
Sickness: Carry illness on path when you are sick. Take illness upon yourself, so
others don’t have to.
Meditate on kindness of others. Don’t become more selfish.
The negative emotions abiding in our minds, they are the source of disease, discomforts,
difficulties.
Death: Dissolution of elements creates mental experience of agony.
They lose their strength. They cannot lift up their hands. They lose heat, even if
they use blanket.
Sense consciousness dissolves, sense organs stop functioning. They cannot make sense
of words. They cannot recognize. Mind becomes hazy. They cannot feel heat or cold.
