Liberation

• We become free from karmic fruition.
• Liberation means ‘to liberate the mind from afflictive emotions’. This means we need to liberate from self-grasping.
• To attain liberation from samsara, we need renunciation. To attain liberation from nirvana, we need compassion.
• Make up the mind to achieve the goal of liberation. To orient towards this goal, you have to think about sufferings.
• Three Jewels: Rarest of the rare. Rarer than Wish-Fulfilling Jewel that grants material wish. They can liberate us from samsara.
