There is a walking path around the stupas. Circumambulating a stupa is very meritorious. There is a story of seven insects who were once sitting on a leaf and were blown around a stupa by the wind, and were reborn in the higher realms due to the merit. This happened during the time of Buddha Kasyapa. This story was said by Buddha Shakyamuni and is recorded in the sutras.

This stupa (left) is my inspiration into dharma. Legend has it this was built by Guru Rinpoche in a previous era.
